Finally, an announcement from the New Canaan High School Class of 1971, which is planning to hold its 50th reunion this year since COVID canceled plans last year. The reunion weekend is planned for Sept. 29 to Oct. 1: “Committee members have been meeting monthly to make this reunion special. A fiftieth reunion is a remarkable achievement. On Thursday, Sept. 29, classmate Bill Roorbach will be at the New Canaan Library at 7 pm to do a reading from his new book, Lucky Turtle at 7 pm. Bill is an American novelist living in Maine. On Friday, Sept 30, there is a Free Golf “Short 9 Holes”– with Jack Zucco at Silvermine Golf Club at 1pm. No need to bring clubs. Then at 5 pm starts a social greeting time at Gates Restaurant…cash bar, dinner on your own, reservations for dinner recommended. Saturday, Oct 1, from 6-11pm is the Reunion Party at the Silvermine Golf Club, 95 Seir Hill Road, Norwalk, CT.
