Police last week arrested a 60-year-old Norwalk man and charged him with driving under the influence.
At about 3:06 p.m. on Aug. 12, officers received a report of a possibly intoxicated male in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked in the lot at East School, according to a police report.
Police found signs of impairment in waking up and speaking with the driver, the report said.
After administering standard field sobriety tests, police took the man into custody, it said.
He refused to provide a sample to establish his blood-alcohol level, police said.
The man was additionally charged with driving a motor vehicle while under suspension.
He was released on $250 and scheduled to appear Aug. 26 in state Superior Court.
