Elizabeth Ann Borgman

Born on January 22, 1968, in Bogotá, Colombia, Elizabeth was adopted by Daniel and June Borgman in Stamford, CT in 1973. At New Canaan High School Elizabeth excelled in field hockey and track and still holds a record in the latter. After graduating from high school Elizabeth attended Western Connecticut University where she earned an LPN degree.

She held a variety of caregiving jobs in CT, FL and GA including providing healthcare for adults with special needs and prison inmates while earning her RN degree.

Elizabeth had a passion for people and travel and would travel to Jamaica whenever she had the chance. Elizabeth remains alive in the hearts and minds of those who knew her. Her zest for living an adventurous life allowed her to make many great friends over the years. She loved her friends and family “beyond the beyond” and was loved equally by them. She also loved her Dallas Cowboys and was willing to let you know about it. Her laugh was contagious and honest as she was just as able to laugh at herself as she could with others.

She is survived by her father, Daniel Borgman, brothers James Borgman, Joel Borgman (Caitlin) and Jesse Borgman, her sister Heidi Hahne (David), her nephews Jesse Jr., Sebastian, Lucas and her nieces Winslow, Gracin, Adeline and Aria.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established in honor of Elizabeth at Baptist Health Foundation for mammography screening of healthcare workers.

Give to the Buddy Bus at https://giving.baptistjax.com/endcancerjax There is a drop-down option to select where you would like to support and select the “BMDA Buddy Bus Operating Fund.” In the leave comment section put “The Elizabeth Borgman Employee Cancer Screening Fund.”
