Police last week arrested an 18-year-old Norwalk man and charged him with third-degree forgery.
At about 7:06 p.m. on June 15, an officer on patrol clocked a car traveling southbound on Oenoke Ridge at 62 mph in a 40 mph zone, according to a police report.
During a subsequent stop, the officer found a fake New Jersey driver’s license in the teen’s wallet, the report said.
The driver additionally was cited for speeding.
He was released after promising to appear July 19 in state Superior Court.
