Police last week arrested a 26-year-old Middletown man by warrant and charged him with two counts of sixth-degree larceny.
The charges stem from an investigation following a theft that was reported to police in January. It isn’t clear what he’s accused of stealing.
The man has an extensive arrest record, with active cases that include the following charges (as well as several motor vehicle-related charges):
- Fifth-degree and sixth-degree larceny (Glastonbury Police, arrested February 2024)
- Sixth-degree larceny (Glastonbury Police, February 2023)
- Two counts of sixth-degree larceny (Greenwich Police, January 2024)
- Two counts of sixth-degree larceny (Connecticut State Police, March 2024)
- Sixth-degree larceny (Plainville Police, March 2024)
- Sixth-degree larceny (Newington Police, March 2024)
- Sixth-degree larceny (Montville Police, March 2024)
- Sixth-degree larceny (East Hampton Police, March 2024)
- Sixth-degree larceny (Ledyard Police, March 2024)
- Third-degree larceny (Farmington Police, March 2024)
- Sixth-degree larceny (Simsbury Police, March 2024)
New Canaan Police processed him in the Stamford Superior Court jailing area, and he remained in custody of the marshals.
He was released on $51,000 bond and scheduled to appear March 28 in state Superior Court.
