Police on Monday arrested a 63-year-old Norwalk man by warrant and charged him with second degree reckless endangerment and second-degree harassment.
On Sept. 28, police took a complaint of a domestic dispute between the man a victim, officials said.
Following an investigation, police secured a warrant for the two misdemeanor charges.
It wasn’t clear whether or how the man is related to the victim, what the dispute involved, what he said that led to the harassment charge or in what way he created a risk of physical injury to the other person.
Police withheld details, saying it’s a domestic matter.
Under state law, a person is guilty of second-degree harassment if he or she “addresses another in or uses indecent or obscene language,” or communicates with another “in a manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm.”
He turned himself in on the warrant at about 11:44 a.m. on Nov. 23. Police released the man on $5,000 bond and scheduled him to appear Tuesday in state Superior Court.
