Michael V. Christiano age 67, died peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Norwalk Hospital.

Born in Norwalk, CT on November 10, 1951, he was the son of the late Michael V. and Julia Spinosa Christiano.
Mike was known fondly by his friends as “Nungie,” a name given to him in his youth. Mike worked doing body work and paint and repair on cars in New Canaan for many years. Michael was known by those who knew him for being shy, loyal and generous.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Collette Christiano of Nantucket, MA and his sister, Patricia Wood of South Salem, NY, as well as his nieces Kimmy LaTourette of New Fairfield and Kelly Svendsen of Danbury. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday April 13, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St. New Canaan, CT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Audubon Society. Please reference Michael Christiano in your donation.
