New Canaan Republican Town Committee Annual Lincoln Dinner

NEW CANAAN, CT – (April 4, 2016) – The New Canaan Republican Town Committee will hold its 10th annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 6th at Woodway Country Club in Darien.
Joe Scarborough will be the evening’s special guest speaker. Mr. Scarborough is a New Canaan resident and former US Congressman (R-Fla. 1994-2001), who served on the Judiciary, Armed Services, Oversight, and National Security Committees. Mr. Scarborough is a Co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, a New York Times best-selling author of Rome Wasn’t Burnt in a Day and The Last Best Hope: Restoring Conservatism and America’s Promise. His most recent book release is The Right Path: From Ike to Reagan. He was named in Time magazine’s prestigious list “The 100 Most Influential People,” and he has been named in Vanity Fair’s “Top Media Power Players” in 2012.
This year’s Honorary Co-Chair of the Lincoln-Reagan Dinner will be The Honorable Toni Boucher, Connecticut State Senator, and her spouse Mr. Henry Boucher. Senator Boucher is presently serving her 4th term representing the 26th Senatorial District, following a distinguished career in the State House of Representatives. She serves as a Chief Deputy Minority Leader, the Senate’s Ranking Member of the General Assembly’s Transportation Committee, the Education Committee and the Judicial Committee; and she is a member of the Finance, Revenue & Bonding Committee.
The event serves as the annual meeting of New Canaan Republicans and is attended by many distinguished guests. It promises to be a memorable event.
