Police on Wednesday afternoon arrested a 44-year-old New Canaan man and charged him with second-degree stalking and second-degree harassment.
On Wednesday morning, the department received a complaint from the victim who indicated that they received numerous harassing emails from the suspect over the past few weeks that were sexually explicit in nature, police said.
Following a subsequent investigation, police took the suspect into custody at his residence on Glen Drive. The suspect is being held on a $200,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Aug. 27.
