A new 3,210-square-foot home is planned for a .21-acre lot at the corner of Bank Street and Brinckerhoff Avenue.
The New Canaan Building Department on June 1 received an application to build the four-bedroom home at 46 Bank St.
It will include a kitchen, mudroom, office and dining room, as well as a master bedroom with master bath and closet, according to the application.
The home will cost an estimated $480,000 to build, the application said. The contractor on the job is New Canaan-based Sillo Construction LLC, the architect New Canaan-based Steven Lecher.
The property had been sold for $1,150,000 last March together with an abutting parcel at 48 Bank St., tax records show. A similar application referring to 8 Brinckerhoff Ave. had come into the town two months ago.
It’s owned by a limited liability company whose principal is a New Canaan man, according to Connecticut Secretary of the State records.
