The New Canaan Building Department on June 21 received an application to construct a 4,179-square-foot house on Kimberly Place.
The new home at 66 Kimberly Place would include five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, one half-bath and a two-car garage, according to the application.
Its attic and basement each would be finished, at 826 and 1,144 square feet, respectively.
The house will cost an estimated $950,000 to $1 million to build, the application said.
A 1941-built Cape-style home stands on the .26-acre property now.
The property was purchased last month for $925,000 by a limited liability company whose principals are listed as a Stamford builder and a second LLC with a Hillcrest Road address.
The Stamford builder is listed as the contractor on the job, Altamura Homes/Luis Altamura. The architect is Louis Campana Architects of Bronxville, N.Y.
