The New Canaan Building Department on July 8 received an application to construct a 4,824-square-foot home on West Hills Road.
The four-bedroom home planned for 319 West Hills Road will include three full bathrooms, three half-baths, and an unfinished basement and attic, according to a building permit application filed July 8.
It will cost about $1,850,000 to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job is Milton Homes, the architect Robert Storm Architects, both of Westport, the application said.
A demolition permit application had come into the Building Department on July 6 for the 1953-built, 2,900-square-foot ranch-style home on the property.
The 2.02-acre property sold last August for $1,250,000, tax records show.
