Police cited a 21-year-old Stamford man on minor drug charges after coming across his parked car in Waveny after dark on Saturday.
At about 5:42 p.m. on Jan. 16, an officer patrolling the park spotted an occupied car and, approaching and speaking with its driver, smelled marijuana, according to a police report.
Police found a small amount of pot in the car as well as a multi-colored glass smoking pipe and silver grinder, the report said.
The Stamford man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana.
