New Canaanite: What are you wearing today?

Sofia: Today I’m wearing ripped boyfriend jeans from Urban Outfitters. A white flowy off the shoulder top from Caren Forbes. Accessory wise, I’m wearing jewelry that I just bought in Belize from my mission trip, my round Ray-Ban sunglasses, and my favorite sandals from Forever 21.

New Canaanite: How would you describe your personal style?

Sofia: Most importantly, I would say my style is comfortable. Additionally, I would have to say boho.

New Canaanite: How would you compare your style to New Canaan?

Sofia: I try not to wear what everyone else wears. I think that everyone here is really big on wearing name brand things, but I’m not really about that.

New Canaanite: How would you describe the typical style of New Canaan?

Sofia: I would say it’s a lot of preppy attire. You see a lot of Vineyard Vines and J.Crew type of brands.

New Canaanite: What are some fashion tips and advice you have for others?

Sofia: I have two tips. The first would be to do your own thing! Don’t feel like you have to dress like all your friends or people around you. The second would be that you don’t have to spend a lot to find some really good clothes.

Thanks Sofia! We love your style.
