Police on Friday night arrested two teenage New Canaan boys on alcohol-related charges after coming upon an underage drinking party on Lukes Wood Road.
At about 10:23 p.m. on Dec. 1, police said, the department received a tip about a youth party at 264 Lukes Wood Road.
Arriving, officers found multiple juveniles inside and outside the home, as well as evidence of the party, such as a ping pong table set up with multiple red Dixie cups in “beer pong” fashion, according to a police report.
Next to the table was a case of Bud Light with empty cans around it, the report said.
Police also said officers smelled beer and alcohol in the basement and other areas of the house, a 1995-built Colonial.
Two juveniles, both 15-year-old males, were issued a summons—one for failure to halt possession, and another for possession of alcohol by a minor.
Police withheld their names because of their ages.
