The New Canaan Building Department on Feb. 21 received an application to build a three-bay, 11-car garage on Lone Tree Farm Road.
The new 6,200-square-foot structure at 62 Lone Tree Farm Road will include one bedroom, full bathroom, family room and kitchen, according to the application.
It will cost about $1,760,000 to build, the application said.
The 1.79-acre property is vacant, according to municipal tax records. A demolition permit had been issued in 2015 for a residential structure on the lot, building records show. It last was sold in 2020 for $1,375,000, tax records show.
