Nancy M. Colson, 50

March 2, 1972 – December 24, 2022

Nancy Colson, 50, of Revere, MA, formerly of New Canaan, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Stamford, CT on March 2, 1972, to Roger and Charlotte Colson. She was raised in New Canaan and was a graduate of New Canaan High School Class of 1991 and Curry College in 1995, with a major in English and Communications. Nancy was a wonderful athlete. She earned varsity letters and awards in soccer throughout her years in high school and college.

Shirley Ann ‘Sas’ Frank, 91

Shirley Ann (Sas) Frank of Savannah, GA passed peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on January 26, 2023. She was 91 years young. Sas was the daughter of the late Rodney and Ola Smith of Long Island, New York. Following her graduation from White Plains High School, she enrolled at Purdue University and joined the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. It was there in her freshman English class that she earned her infamous nickname “Sas”.

Timothy B. Price, 47

Timothy B. Price, age 47, left this world suddenly on February 3rd, 2023, to return to the loving arms of Our Lord. Tim was born in Bridgeport, CT and grew up in Orange, CT the beloved son of the late Elaine (Lescheshen) Price and brother of David V. Price. Tim Price was a force that left a lasting impression on all those lucky enough to meet him. He held many titles throughout his short, but remarkable life. He was a proud family man and an amazing father.

Rose Pla, 98

Rose Pla, a resident of Pelham Manor, New York for over 65 years, passed away peacefully on Feb 1, 2023 at the age of 98 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Manhattan, NY on March 19, 1924 to Guiseppe and Desolina Marchini and had two brothers, Hector and Laurence. Rose attended New York City public schools and graduated from New York University in 1948. After attending NYU Law School, she worked on Wall Street and was married to Louis F. Pla on November 7, 1959 in New York City. Rose had a deep Catholic faith and was lifelong parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Pelham Manor.

Dale Lawrence Cheney, 46

Dale Lawrence Cheney passed away on January 25, 2023, in New York City. He was born in Alexandria, Virginia, to Darwin and Bonnie (Gray) Cheney on January 15, 1977. He grew up in New Jersey and Northern Virginia with his two brothers and two sisters. He attended Brigham Young University (class of 2001) in Provo, UT where he studied Accounting and met the love of his life, Lauren Colton, his wife of 22 years (married August 5, 2000, in the Washington DC LDS Temple). He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School (class of 2006) where he learned to be an effective business leader and made lifelong friends.
