Police cited a 22-year-old Stamford man on a minor drug charge Sunday afternoon after finding marijuana on him during a motor vehicle stop on South Avenue.
At about 3:40 p.m., police pulled him over near the intersection of South Avenue and Farm Road for appearing to speed and because he had no front license plate on his car, according to New Canaan Police Capt. Vincent DeMaio. An officer smelled an odor of pot and then found a baggie of pot during a vehicle search, DeMaio said.
