As your elected Constable, I want to emphasize the importance of voting this year. We are entering a time that demands responsible, transparent, and rigorous governance.
Board of Education incumbent Julie Toal, a Republican, is seeking re-election. The GOP holds a 6-3 majority on the nine-member school board. Five seats are up for election: three currently held by Republicans, two by Democrats. There are three Republicans and three Democrats running for Board of Ed, as well as one write-in candidate who is unaffiliated.

I am endorsing Pavla Levin for a seat on the New Canaan Town Council. My experience on the Town Council taught me that an effective town councilor needs 2 characteristics: the ability to work on a team and the willingness to spend your time studying issues and bringing your experience and skills to bear. Simply showing up at the meetings, listening to presentations, and voting is not acceptable.
