New Construction Planned for Rosebrook Road

The New Canaan Building Department last week received an application to build a 6,638-square-foot home on Rosebrook Road. The four-bedroom house at 250 Rosebrook Road will have 22 total rooms, including five full bathrooms and two-half baths, according to the application, filed Feb. 27. It also will include a fireplace and attached three-car garage, the application said. The home will cost about $1,315,900 to build, it said.

11-Car Garage Planned for Lone Tree Farm Road

The New Canaan Building Department on Feb. 21 received an application to build a three-bay, 11-car garage on Lone Tree Farm Road. The new 6,200-square-foot structure at 62 Lone Tree Farm Road will include one bedroom, full bathroom, family room and kitchen, according to the application. 

It will cost about $1,760,000 to build, the application said. The 1.79-acre property is vacant, according to municipal tax records. A demolition permit had been issued in 2015 for a residential structure on the lot, building records show.

New Construction Planned for Oenoke Ridge

The New Canaan Building Department on Jan. 13 received an application to build an 11,165-square-foot house on Oenoke Ridge. The seven-bedroom home planned for 672 Oenoke Ridge will include eight full bathrooms and two half-baths (15 rooms total), according to the building permit application. 

It will have an unfinished basement and a pair of two-car garages, the application said. The house will cost about $3 million to build, it said. The contractor on the job will be Luigi Altamura of Stamford-based Altamura Homes, the architect Louis Campana Architect PLLC of Bronxville, N.Y.

The 5.69-acre property includes a 1936-built Colonial, according to municipal tax records.

New Construction Planned for Summer Street

The New Canaan Building Department on Nov. 15 received applications to build two homes on a .43-acre Summer Street lot. The five-bedroom houses planned for 86 Summer St. each will include about 2,308 square feet of living space, with an additional 988 in a finished basement and 954 in a finished attic, according to the building permit applications. They’ll each have four full bathrooms and a half-bath, the applications said.

New Construction Planned for South Avenue

The New Canaan Building Department on Nov. 14 received an application to build a 4,600-square-foot home on South Avenue. The five-bedroom house planned for 255 South Ave. will include five bathrooms and a three-car garage, according to the building permit application. 

It will cost about $1.2 million to build, the application said. The contractor on the job is New Canaan-based Cognetta Homes LLC, the architect ISO Architects of Norwalk.
