The regatta consists of more than 100 races and draws more than 4,000 athletes. The Maritime Youth Quad of Neubohn, Kevin Crotty (Fairfield), Leyton Tucci (Darien) and Xia led the race from start to finish and crossed the line less than five seconds ahead of the second-place finishers from the Texas Rowing Center. About an hour later the Under 16 Men’s Coxed Quad of Adam Turner (Westport), Matthew Lupinacci (Westport), Brauweiler, William Whitman (Stamford) and coxswain Asher Daniel (Darien) did the same, crossing the finish line eight seconds ahead of the second place crew from Los Gatos, Calif.
