Police on Saturday night cited an 18-year-old New Canaan woman for possession of alcohol by a minor.
At about 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, officers were dispatched to an Oak Grove Place home on a report of loud noise, police said.
There, they discovered about 10 people around a fire pit with containers of alcoholic beverages nearby, according to a police report.
Following an investigation, police brought the infraction-level charge against the teen.
Police have reported that noise complaints increased about 29% through the first 11 months of 2020, from 125 to 161.
