The town on Wednesday received a building permit application for a 6,100-square-foot home on a 1.02-acre lot on Smith Ridge Road.
The 1913 Cape at 346 Smith Ridge Road sold in October for $825,000 and was demolished two months later.
Plans call for a five-bedroom single-family home with four full bathrooms and two half-baths, a 3-car attached garage and 650-square-foot open patio off the rear of the house.
In all, construction will cost about $700,000, according to the application, and will be overseen by contractor Tom Sturges of Ridgefield. Specs by Doug MacMillan of Ridgefield. The property is owned by a Ridgefield-based company, TM Investments LLC.
