New Construction Planned for Oenoke Ridge

The New Canaan Building Department on Oct. 25 received an application for a 2,675-square-foot residence on Oenoke Ridge. The two-bedroom house planned for 310 Oenoke Ridge—a guest house, according to the application—will include two full bathrooms, a half-bth, kitchen, great room, sitting room, laundry, pantry and garage (11 rooms total), the application said. It will cost about $1 million to build, the application said. The contractor on the job is Yankee Custom Builders Inc. of Greenwich, the architect New Canaan-based Brooks & Falotico, it said.

New Construction Planned for Green Avenue

The New Canaan Building Department on Oct. 20 received an application for a 4,799-square-foot home on Green Avenue. The five-bedroom house planned for 31 Green Ave. will include five full bathrooms and two half-baths (11 rooms total), according to the building permit application. It will cost about $1,750,0000 to build, the application said.

New Construction Planned for Knapp Lane

The New Canaan Building Department last week received an application to build a 4,640-square-foot home on Knapp Lane. The five-bedroom house planned for 29 Knapp Lane will include five full bathrooms and two half-baths, according to a building permit application filed Oct. 24. It will cost about $760,000 to build, the application said. The contractor on the job is New Canaan-based LTW Builders Inc., the architect Curtis A. Streuli of Norwalk.

New Construction Planned for Hawthorne Road

The New Canaan Building Department on Oct. 20 received an application for a 3,714-square-foot home on Hawthorne Road. The five-bedroom house at 59 Hawthorne Road will include five full bathrooms, two half-baths and 11 rooms in total, according to the application. It will cost about $1,750,000 to build, the application said. The architect on the job is Christopher Pagliaro Architects of Darien, and the contractor has yet-to-be-determined, it said.

New Construction Planned for Spring Water Lane

The New Canaan Building Department on Sept. 29 received an application to construct a 9,800-square-foot home on Spring Water Lane. The Colonial-style house at 388 Spring Water Lane will include five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two half-baths and an attached pool house, according to the application. 

It will cost about $3,775,000 to build, the application said. The contractor on the job will be John Ruddy/Ruddy Builders LLC of Darien, the architect Stephen Jones, also of Darien, it said. The vacant, 2.78-acre parcel was purchased in May 2021 for $1,250,000, tax records show.
