  1. A comment that there is “a high likelihood” from a respected Chief of Police “that students possess and possibly deal drugs at NCHS” should be enough.

    When, oh when, will those who object stop resisting an initiative that will save lives and protect the future of our kids? Ignoring and delaying this program will ensure that someone, somewhere will be affected by drug possession, use, abuse, and perhaps death. Do you know someone already?

    It is the climate of permission, and fear of making tough, perhaps unpopular, decisions that exists today that allows this conversation even to be on the table.
